The Opportunity
This is a consulting role, not an in-house HR position.
As an HR Advisor at WCA Solutions, you\'ll manage a portfolio of clients with a focus on the mining and resources sector, providing hands-on, commercially grounded HR advisory services across the full employment lifecycle.
One day you might be advising a mid-tier mining operator on a complex ER matter; the next you could be supporting a client through a workforce restructure or performance management process. No two days are the same, and that\'s exactly what makes this role compelling for the right person.
You\'ll be backed by an experienced, collaborative and senior leadership team, working closely with the executive who are genuinely invested in your professional growth and you\'ll be joining a practice with a 25-year track record and a client base that spans the breadth of the Western Australian economy.
About the Role
* Identify, develop and deliver outcomes for clients across the mining and resources sector through WCA Solutions\' full range of HR services
* Deliver commercially driven HR solutions by managing client expectations and optimising resources, budgets, and deliverables
* Maintain a culture of continuous improvement by refining WCA Solutions\' HR processes and tools
* Demonstrate a proactive, accountable mindset with a willingness to learn, take ownership, and step in wherever needed to get the job done
* Stay informed on Industrial Relations changes and innovative approaches to HR delivery, particularly as they apply to the resources sector

Requirements
* Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or a relevant field
* 4+ years\' experience as an HR generalist
* Minimum 3 years\' experience working within or directly supporting the mining and resources sector, this is essential
* Strong understanding of Australian industrial relations and HR compliance requirements
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* A genuine willingness to grow professionally and contribute to a high-performing team
* Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes
