St Albans Folk Festival, held annually over the ANZAC Day long weekend, hosts musicians, singers, dancers, poets, speakers, and street performers of traditional and contemporary folk. St Albans is a small, beautiful, heritage village on the banks of the MacDonald River in the Hawkesbury (about 90 minutes from Sydney).
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a content plan in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
Create content for Facebook and Instagram in line with the festival’s visual style.
Regularly monitor social media channels.
Monitor mentions of St Albans Folk Festival in news feeds.
Nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
Interact with followers by responding to enquiries, comments, or complaints.
Measure and report on the results of social media activities.
Skills and Experience
Cert IV in Digital Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
Highly experienced user of Facebook, Instagram, and Canva.
Graphic design and/or photography training or experience advantageous.
Experience attending folk festivals, or experience as a performer, advantageous but not necessary.
