We are seeking a dedicated Funeral Arranger / Conductor to become an integral part of our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting families and ensuring every service is conducted with dignity and respect.
About the Role
As a Funeral Arranger / Conductor, you will:
* Coordinate and manage funeral arrangements.
* Lead and support teams during funeral services, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional care.
* Operate and oversee audio/visual systems during services.
* Provide compassionate assistance to families and guests.
Additional responsibilities included
* Participating in the after-hours on-call roster.
* Facilitating transfers of deceased persons from the place of death.
* Providing mortuary care.
* Driving and maintaining company vehicles.
* Preparing gravesites and service locations safely and professionally.
* Facilitating transfers of deceased persons to the crematorium.
Additional responsibilities may include
* Including pre-arranged services and funeral bonds.
* Mentor other staff to help progress their learning.
* Maintenance of buildings and grounds.
* Covering other staffs on call rooster when they are on leave.
About You
* Previous experience in the funeral industry (essential).
* The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity when supporting families.
