As Digital Workplace Coordinator, you are accountable for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of Digital Workplace services and projects. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors and external partners to ensure a smooth and reliable experience for our staff to agreed timelines, scope and company standards. This role is both about planning and 'hands on' for delivery. The role includes regular interstate and regional travel to support initiatives, refresh activities and local site requirements.
This is not an M365 support role however a strong technical background is a plus. It is a delivery and coordination role with real ownership — working across infrastructure, cyber, architecture, risk, vendors and operational teams to ensure projects are executed seamlessly.
What will your key responsibilities include?
* Plan and coordinate Digital Workplace projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline and budget
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones and resource tracking
* Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and dependencies across workstreams
* Act as the primary point of contact for Digital Workplace hardware activities and work closely with internal stakeholders to understand needs and set clear expectations
* Oversee installation and configuration of hardware, software and network components in line with change management standards
* Coordinate vendors, consultants and contractors to ensure timely delivery of products and services
* Manage asset lifecycle activities and ensure compliance with asset management policies
* Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and leadership
What are we looking for?
* Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently
* A strong customer service mindset with a focus on practical outcomes
* High level of organisation, time management and attention to detail
* Demonstrated experience in vendor management and purchasing of IT hardware
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including end user compute, networks, storage and software deployment
* Working knowledge of project tools (MS Project, JIRA, Trello or similar)
* Strong problem-solving capability and ability to lead issue resolution activities
* Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage expectations and deliver quality outcomes
* Ability to travel interstate and regional as per business requirements
