**MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER**
XAM Consulting is a digital consulting service with a team of over 80 people and growing. We have a large presence in Australia and abroad, with about 40% distributed all over the globe. We design and build digital products for our clients, which range from ASX-listed companies to mid-tier thought leaders, and product start-ups.
We are looking for someone to join our XAM Brisbane or Sydney Team as a **Marketing and Communications Manager**.
**As a marketing and communications manager, you will be tasked with the following**:
- Create and execute a strategic marketing plan alongside the leadership team
- Drive business growth with strong marketing, from brand to lead generation
- Build on our existing brand and brand voice for XAM, and develop this for our new ventures
- Turn the work we do internally into leadership-based content, working with internal staff to package their brilliance into quality communications.
- Drive all marketing initiatives and seek out new opportunities/ways to market
- Maintain and develop our social media platforms and online assets
- Create and maintain marketing materials (including content, marketing collateral, video and photography), If required recruit and manage freelance creatives - image and video. There is the budget for creative and content for large pointed pieces of work but this is not an agency management role, in order to achieve results you will need to do a mixture of the work yourself (eg with Canva) and with freelance/internal designers.
- Develop and ensure consistent use of brand guidelines and templates
- Seek out opportunities for press (including drafting and proofing press releases)
- Lead internal and external event initiatives, including maintaining events calendar, event planning, sponsorship coordination, on-the-day support, and post-event follow up
- Plan, execute and measured quarterly marketing campaigns
- Align XAM communications to customer problems/needs/desires, turn our internal ways of working into our unique selling propositions
- Create case studies of our work in multiple formats
- Manage website creative and content
**Above all else, we would love to find a driven, empathetic, highly skilled communicator with a lot of initiative... but the below attributes would be looked upon favourably.**
- Understanding and proficient use of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Experience with developing and managing content, including written and video, for digital, ads and social media.
- Experience in developing and growing a brand
- The ability to write and communicate in a brand voice, this a must-have
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- A Design or Marketing/Comms degree and/or a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- A creative growth mindset with a willingness to contribute new ideas
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of
- Knowledgeable about the technology industry
- Understanding of content and thought leadership-based marketing
- It is desirable to have experience in advertising platforms, not required but needs to be open to updating creative in the platform
