We're looking for a motivated and detail‐focused entry‐level Payroll professional to become a valued part of our team at Hope Valley. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in payroll and administration while working in a supportive, fast‐paced environment.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting with end‐to‐end payroll processing for more than 1,000 weekly and fortnightly employees across Australia
* Maintaining and updating employee records accurately across multiple systems
* Responding to payroll queries and helping process adjustments and terminations
* Supporting statutory month‐end tasks, including PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and Child Support
* Collaborating with Finance, HR, and branch teams nationwide to ensure smooth and efficient payroll operations
What you'll bring to the team
* A proactive attitude and the ability to keep on top of tasks in a fast‐paced environment
* Great attention to detail and an interest in working with numbers
* Clear communication skills and a willingness to support those around you
* Enthusiasm to learn and develop, with payroll or accounting systems experience a bonus
* Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
