Personal finance is broken.
Ever wonder why people struggle to manage their finances effectively? Or why young people struggle for decades to regain financial stability after early missteps? We’re on a mission to simplify and automate financial management, making it accessible and impactful for all Australians.
We are looking for a Business Operations & Events Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is excited to play a pivotal role in scaling our team and business while fostering a world-class workplace culture.
Your Role: Driving Growth & Creating Impact

You will be responsible for optimising business operations, supporting team expansion, and delivering high-impact events that reinforce our mission and values. This role is not just about operations—it’s about creating an environment where people collaborate, innovate, and thrive together.

Oversee company equipment and laptop management, ensuring our team has the tools they need to succeed and excel.
Lead onboarding processes for new hires, making their transition into WeMoney seamless, engaging, and aligned with our values.
Support business expansion strategies, contributing to a scalable and high-performing workplace. Lead a shift in workplace culture, aligning with core business values and long-term objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
️ 5+ years of experience in operations, office management, or business administration (preferably in fintech or high-growth startups).
️ Strong expertise in process optimisation, automation, and business efficiency.
️ Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving operational success.
️ Experience managing vendors, contracts, and office administration.
️ Ability to manage office operations, facilities, and administrative functions.
️ Event management experience, including coordinating team events, conferences, and exhibitions.
️ Experience managing company equipment, such as company laptops and office technology, including the ability to administer MacOS devices.
️ Experience running onboarding processes for new employees and supporting team growth.
️ Excellent leadership and communication skills, fostering collaboration and a positive team culture. Passion for solving problems and delivering a great experience. Committed and motivated to delivering high-quality work and outcomes for clients and colleagues, underpinned by a consistent commitment to professionalism. Resilient with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, uncertain, and intense working environments, while remaining adaptable.
️ A problem-solver with a data-driven mindset and keen attention to detail.
️ Ability to act with urgency and drive impact in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
