Salary: $113,900 + $10,000 bonus* + 12% Superannuation

We are currently seeking an exceptional Head Chef with extensive experience, creativity, and dedication to lead a team of chefs and utility staff. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering top-notch food to our guests.
Flavour, presentation and flair are a daily expectation in this role and the ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 year\'s Head Chef experience.
The Role
* 8:6 Roster FIFO from Perth
* Hands on Leadership role, overseeing a small team
* Oversee dining room operations to ensure a seamless service experience
* Maintain effective client and business relationships with the client onsite
* Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, mentoring & training staff
* Buffet style cooking for Breakfast, Crib, Lunch, and / or Dinner and Desserts
* Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures
* Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimum
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
Role Requirements
* Minimum of 5 year\'s Head Chef Experience
* Passion for producing great food, full of flavour and presented with pride
* Experience within bulk catering environments
* Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
* Experience in menu writing, rostering and cost control
* Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines
* Current valid Driver\'s License
* Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain one)
