Job Opportunity: Lead Litigation Lawyer

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of lawyers and paralegals, providing high-level legal advice, and efficiently managing complex cases. Key requirements include:

* Strong understanding of the structure and culture of government, including political and legal sensitivities
About Us
We are a diverse team of approximately 60 legal practitioners and 35 legal support staff. We work on matters involving public interest issues, including personal injury claims, police civil claims, coronial inquests, vexatious litigant applications, tortious claims, defamation, post-sentence supervision, and detention orders.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Leading and supervising a team of lawyers and paralegals
2. Providing high-level legal advice across government
3. Efficiently managing complex and sensitive litigation with a particular focus on State care, personal injury, and negligence claims
