Health Safety and Environmental Specialist Role
This position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with current legislation and the effective implementation of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and support to management and staff on a range of safety matters;
* Assist in developing and reviewing policy documents to ensure alignment with industry standards;
* Implement strategies that deliver exceptional quality outcomes in workplace health and safety;
* Coordinate safety requirements for specific projects, ensuring adherence to relevant guidelines and regulations;
* Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, closing actions in a timely manner;
* Facilitate risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement;
* Develop and deliver training programs to enhance skills and knowledge across the team;
* Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and maintain a robust Safety and Health Management System, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
