Parkes is located 25 minutes North of Forbes and 1.5 hours South of Dubbo.
About the role
BaptistCare Niola Centre is seeking Carers to join their team on a casual or Permanent Part Time basis. As a carer, you'll get to know your residents and their needs and preferences during your shifts.
Duties may include:
* Assistance with a wide range of person-centred care in accordance with care plans
* Assistance with medication
* Simple wound dressing
* Assistance with activities under supervision
* Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
Skills & experience
* Previous experience as a Carer (desirable)
* Transferable skills in providing care and compassion to others
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable)
* OR willing to complete Certificate Traineeships on offer to eligible candidates
* We encourage Nursing students to apply
* Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check or provide current NDIS Worker screening clearance
