Finance Officer Job Opportunity
Job Description:
As a Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing financial advice and support to schools across Queensland. Your primary responsibility will be to assist school staff with their financial management needs, including accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, banking, budgeting, and reporting.
Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an understanding of school business priorities and service delivery objectives. This includes analyzing financial management practices and identifying areas for improvement, as well as monitoring the level of financial management competencies within schools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to provide financial advice and support to stakeholders
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
* High-level communication skills, both written and oral
* Exceptional coordination and organisational skills
