About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales and operations team, with a strong focus on selling attachments for our HFP Attachments range.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with prior sales experience who can confidently manage customer enquiries, support the sales process, and contribute to driving product sales.
You will be the first point of contact for many customer enquiries and play a key role in supporting the sales process from initial enquiry through to order completion.
This is a full-time office-based role located in Kilsyth.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and social media in a professional and timely manner
* Provide accurate information on HFP Attachments products, including specifications, pricing, and availability
* Prepare and assist with sales quotes, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up
* Actively follow up on quotes and enquiries to support attachment sales
* Process customer orders and maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system
* Track quotes, customer interactions, and sales activity
* Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document preparation
* Support communication between sales, operations, and other internal teams
* Provide ad hoc support to ensure smooth workflow across the business
About You
* Previous experience in a sales or sales support role (essential)
* Previous sales experience in the earthmoving or attachment industry (advantageous)
* Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly manner
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
* Proactive, reliable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems (CRM experience is a plus)
* A team player who enjoys supporting others and contributing to shared goals
* Interest in sales, with a willingness to learn about attachment products and solutions
* Passion for delivering excellent customer service
