As our Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in optimising our maintenance operations.
This position is based at our Mount Thorley, NSW site.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing, maintaining, and coordinating a comprehensive maintenance plan and schedule based on best practice principles.
Utilizing advanced asset management information systems to communicate effectively, analyze data, and achieve outstanding performance, reliability, compliance, and safety targets.
Monitoring and tracking schedule compliance, providing regular reports on plan/schedule adherence.
Ensuring efficient allocation of resources, materials, and equipment necessary for maintenance activities.
Collaborating with stakeholders to create dynamic weekly plans, procure equipment, and schedule jobs.
Maintaining alignment between maintenance planning, production needs, and compliance requirements.
Providing technical assistance to support on-site maintenance activities.
Managing service providers and equipment on site, ensuring seamless operations.
Initiating and managing capital projects from conception to successful completion.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislations, regulations, and safety standards.
Reviewing job costings to maintain budget adherence.
Maintaining an accurate asset database for all plant and equipment.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in maintenance planning and scheduling.
Strong problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to manage a varied workload.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
Commitment to safety.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (advantageous).
