.NET Software Engineer (Developer) Contract | APS6 Equivalent | Hybrid | Nationwide We are seeking two experienced .NET Developers to join a major national digital transformation program within a large government environment. This role will see you working on modern, enterprise-scale systems that support critical public services. You will be part of a collaborative delivery team responsible for uplifting existing applications, building new functionality, and supporting large-scale ICT platforms. Location Hybrid role with flexibility across: ACT, QLD, NSW, VIC, WA, SA, TAS, NT Canberra or Brisbane preferred. Interstate candidates may be required to travel to Canberra 1-2 times per quarter. Start: April 2026 End: 30 June 2027 Hours: 40 per week Clearance: Must be able to obtain NV1 About the Program You will contribute to a large-scale ICT modernisation program replacing legacy systems with a citizen-centric, cloud-enabled platform. The program focuses on business process re-engineering, data management, compliance, and system replacement across multiple workstreams. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance C# / .NET enterprise applications Participate in the Agile SDLC using Azure DevOps and SAFe Build automated CI/CD pipelines Design, test, and document scalable solutions Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders Analyse and resolve complex technical issues Contribute to technical documentation and best practice Share knowledge within developer communities Support delivery readiness activities when required Essential Skills & Experience ✔ Full stack .NET development ✔ .NET Core, C#, Azure ✔ Azure DevOps (CI/CD, builds, releases) ✔ Agile delivery environments ✔ Cloud-based application development ✔ Strong documentation and peer review experience ✔ Stakeholder engagement and communication ✔ Visual Studio, MS Suite, DevOps tools ✔ Strong problem-solving and analytical ability Desirable Tertiary IT or Computer Science qualification Blazor or modern web frameworks CI/CD pipeline design Experience in highly regulated or government environments Why Apply?
