We are seeking dedicated and meticulous individuals to maintain high hygiene standards in patient rooms, theatres, offices, restrooms, and public areas.
This role involves cleaning and disinfecting various spaces within the hospital, adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining accurate inventory records.
* Clean and maintain patient rooms, theatres, offices, restrooms, and public areas
* Use approved disinfectants, sanitize high-touch surfaces, and follow infection control protocols
* Perform deep cleans in high-risk areas and handle biohazardous waste safely
* Strip/make beds, clean rooms post-discharge, and manage soiled linen and laundry tasks
* Operate, maintain, and check cleaning equipment; report faults or hazards
* Safely segregate and dispose of general and hazardous waste
Requirements
* Previous experience in commercial or healthcare cleaning is preferred
* Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning practices
* Understanding of infection prevention and control procedures
* Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check (employee version), or willingness to obtain
* Updated Covid and Flu vaccinations and serology report
