We are seeking a talented technical author to join our team. As a technical author, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering high-quality documentation for our diverse range of products.

The ideal candidate will have circa 5 years' experience in a technical writing role within an engineering discipline. They will be proficient with technical writing tools, software, and processes, with previous experience with popular CCMS platforms being essential.

You will work closely with our engineering, product marketing, and support teams to ensure our documentation meets the needs of our customers and follows our style and quality standards. You will write, edit, and maintain user guides, data sheets, programming guides, and other technical documentation with customer experience top of mind.

Key Responsibilities

* Create and manage topic-based, modular, and reusable content using best practices.
">
* Support the delivery of a comprehensive content management and delivery platform and structured authoring process.
">
* Work with subject matter experts, reviewers, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure our documentation is accurate and complete.
">
* Evaluate content to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, brand guidelines, and technical writing standards.
">

Requirements
">
">
* Circa 5 years' experience in a technical writing role within an engineering discipline.
">
* Proficiency with technical writing tools, software, and processes; previous experience with popular CCMS platforms is essential.
">
* Experience with XML, DITA, HTML, CSS, and other mark-up languages and standards.
">
* A portfolio demonstrating exceptional technical writing skills in English and knowledge of industry standards/best practices for technical documentation.
">
* Acute attention to detail and desire for accuracy.
">
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
">
* Understanding of the localisation process and experience in managing multilingual content.
">
* Experience using project management tools such as Jira for workload management.
