Job Description

* Identifying and proactively engaging prospective customers to generate new business opportunities across international freight forwarding services
* Developing and managing a strong sales pipeline through effective prospecting, qualification and account planning
* Understanding customer supply chain needs and recommending tailored logistics solutions to close profitable sales
* Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless onboarding and operational handover of new customers
* Creating and delivering customer presentations, proposals, tenders and pricing, with consistent follow-up to secure business
* Building strong internal networks to support customer retention, service delivery and long-term account growth
* Accurately capturing and maintaining all sales activities, opportunities and customer data within the CRM system
* Managing and growing a portfolio of customers while continuously identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities

The Successful Applicant

* Experience within the shipping / international freight forwarding industry in a Field Sales or similar commercial role
* Proven commercial selling and negotiation experience within logistics or supply chain environments
* Strong experience in new business development, including prospecting and building sales pipelines
* The ability to manage customer relationships while consistently identifying growth opportunities
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders
* High attention to detail, strong administration capability and a professional, results‐driven work ethic
* Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask and work autonomously
