Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Admin Officer to join our team. The Administrative Officer will look after the Accounts Receivable function and provide oversight on the daily office operations and support company functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Reconciliation and banking of cash deposits from SA Branch of the business, reconciliation of store credit card receipts, oversight of banking of cash deposits for WA Branch.
* In‑store assistance with the administration of stock‑takes and adjustments.
* Daily price checking and ticketing.
* B2B quoting – support of B2B salesperson in customer quotation.
Accounts Receivable Function
* Monitor and record customer payments in the accounting system.
* Follow up on overdue accounts and initiate collections activities.
* Reconcile and resolve payment discrepancies.
* Clearly communicate collection policies and procedures to customers.
* Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payment‑related issues.
Experience
* Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (beneficial but not necessary).
* 2+ years proven experience working in accounts receivable or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record‑keeping.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
