About the opportunity:
- Support senior management with financial insights to guide business decisions
- Lead the finance team, fostering an open and cooperative, solutions-focused culture
- Assist with intercompany transactions and group consolidation activities
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and strategic initiatives across various business arms
- Provide guidance and support in investment and capital projects, particularly in wine, dairy, and coffee sectors
As you would expect, day-to-day matters will include:
- Manage all technical accounting functions and ensure compliance with standards
- Prepare monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc management reports, dashboards, and P&Ls;
- Oversee and maintain the accounting for multiple entities as they are consolidated into the group structure
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of cash flow, debtors, creditors, and costs
About you:
The client will ideally engage an experienced Group/ Senior Management Accountant, with demonstrated experience in the FMCG, FnB, Hospitality industry.
- Current member- CPA or CA
- Demonstrated experience with core functions of the role
- Full Australian Working Rights
Nice-to-have's:
- Assisting with the automation of AR/AP processes in Pronto
- Integrating platforms for customer ordering and payment processing
- Alcohol/Wet Tax experience
The client is significantly motivated to engage the right person and will negotiate a salary based on experience and capabilities, circa $170,000 + superannuation.
