What you can do for MEDLOG:
Container Transport
We are looking for an experienced MC Driver who will be responsible for delivering and retrieving containers between customer, depot,and wharf facilities. Routes are predominantly within the Sydney Metropolitan area,with occasional regional deliveries (as required).
Deliveries and collections from Customer sites
Ensuring compliance with all Main Roads Regulations and MEDLOG internal procedures
Delivery/Collection of Containers to and from Minto Depot.
Based at our Minto Depot with free onsite parking.
General Transport
Our drivers are responsible for delivering and retrieving all forms of cargo between customer, depot,and wharf facilities. Routes are predominantly within the Sydney Metropolitan area,occasional regional transport on day shift may be required.
Transportation of Loose Cargo (Majority Steel but also General Cargo)
Excellent execution of Load Restraint and safe operation of Load Restraint Equipment.
Ensuring compliance with all Main Roads Regulations and MEDLOG internal procedures
Delivery/Collection of loose products to and from the wharf location
Transportation of Oversize equipment/product
About you:
Current MClicense
2+ Years experience with Hammar Side loader units
Dangerous Goods license highly desirable.
Pacific National Induction highly desirable.
Ability to learn and utilize multiple apps on the in-truck tablet (e.g. MT Data, Container Chain, Trans focus). MEDLOG provides on the job training.
Positive attitude towards safety and compliance.
Ability to work both in a team environment but also independently whilst following instruction and providing exceptional customer service
All successful applicants will be required to complete a Pre- Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol screen, a Commercial Vehicle Drivers Medical and provide a National Police Clearance.
