Job Title: Research Funding Support Officer
The Division of Research and Innovation at the University of Adelaide provides leadership in achieving the university's strategic goals, particularly in relation to research strategy, researcher education, services, infrastructure, and supporting the development of world-class research and impact.
We are seeking an administrative support professional to provide expert services to units within Research Services. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, coordinating logistics, drafting reports, and contributing to procedure development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring accurate data entry using specialist software and conducting regular quality checks to maintain data integrity.
* Coordinating meetings, training sessions, and events, including room bookings, catering, travel arrangements, and IT/AV requirements.
* Drafting and editing agendas, memos, and reports, as well as interpreting and analysing data to produce standard reports.
* Contributing to the development, documentation, and implementation of procedures within Research Services while maintaining high standards of compliance and data quality across all research administration processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A diploma-level qualification with relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
* Demonstrated experience with data entry and use of databases.
* Familiarity with the organisation of research and related structures and processes in a research-oriented university pertaining to research grants.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
* Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
