Job Description:
This position offers the chance to develop, deliver, and evaluate innovative care for young people and their families. The successful applicant will be required to possess or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current NSW driver's licence.
Responsibilities:
* Provide medical leadership within an interdisciplinary team setting.
* Support the delivery of mental health assessments and management for young people.
* Empower families and care networks through collaborative support.
* Participate in key clinical decisions that drive quality patient care.
* Supervise and work with registrars to enhance professional growth.
* Assist in medical student education and training.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Possess or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent as provided by the Health Insurance Act 1997.
* Advanced Certificate of Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
* Current NSW driver's licence.
* Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development and reflective practice.
