Project Estimator Role
The role of a Project Estimator is to provide technical expertise and ensure the successful delivery of accurate quotes and competitive tenders. The successful candidate will work directly with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver projects within the desired response time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Initiate, scope, estimate works and larger projects
* Utilise GHS Solutions systems of work to track opportunities through to estimates and sales orders
* Initiate and coordinate procurement, with suppliers and sub-contractors
* Handover works won to relevant team members
* Engage with clients and all stakeholders via clear, consistent communication
* Create concept design drawings as required
Requirements:
* Australian recognised Trade Certificate or Degree/Diploma Qualifications
* Minimum of 3-5 years experience in mechanical maintenance and project delivery
* Demonstrated experience in estimating project costings, resourcing and schedules
* Project and planning experience required
* MS Project knowledge desirable
* Demonstrated experience in tender coordination and submission requirements
* Ability to liaise between client and internal stakeholders
* Experienced trade qualified project leader will be considered also
* Motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude
* Hold a current drivers license
* Ability to pass a medical and D&A screen
