The Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS) has been providing medical services to the West Australian people for over 90 years. This role can be offered as a full-time Port Hedland-based position or FIFO from Perth, month on/month off (0.5 FTE).

Who Are We Looking For?
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in:
* Aeromedical retrieval
* Telemedicine
* Flying medical clinics
* Indigenous health
Additional requirements include:
* Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner or the ability to register
* Minimum of five years postgraduate experience
* Significant experience in emergency medicine, anaesthesia, and acute paediatrics
* Ability to independently manage critically ill and injured patients, including procedural skills relevant to critical care medicine
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Availability for at least 12 months
* Qualifications such as ACEM/ANZCA/CICM/FACRRM or FRACGP, or experienced career medical officers
* Obstetric experience
* Primary healthcare experience
* Experience in pre-hospital or retrieval medicine
* Experience in regional or remote medical practice
