**How will you make an impact?**
You will be responsible for maximising sales via strategic business development, account management and pipeline health for the broad Thermo Fisher portfolio within Perth and regional Western Australia. Overall management of customers with the objective of achieving territory financial targets, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strong customer / company relationships. This is a high profile, high value, predominately office-based sales role, embracing the communication preferences of customers in the territory.
**Key Responsibilities**:
To achieve and exceed sales territory financial targets and objectives including:
- Sales Revenue
- Gross margin (including % & contract pricing management)
- Account growth
Grow business in line with company targets:
- Develop and maintain a sales opportunity funnel in line with targets
- Focus on growing existing accounts and developing new business
Ensure that an effective customer contact program is implemented and managed to maximize sales growth & key customer relationships:
- 80/20 customer management.
- Value proposition presented at all calls
Develop and implement key account plans and strategies in line with marketing and sales management objectives:
- Key product line targets met.
- Key promotions and marketing programs implemented
Report and communicate internally to ensure opportunities are being maximized and customer (external & internal) expectations are being met:
- Deliver to required reporting deadlines.
Maintain a professional and positive attitude whilst being committed to our company values of integrity, intensity, innovation, and involvement:
- Exceeding customer service level expectations (external & internal).
- Working to agreed deadlines
**How will you get here?**
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent, preferably in business and/or scientific field
- Previous Sales experience (3-5years) with accountability for achievement of KPI's and Financial Targets and or similar technical support role
