ML Landscape Construction and Carpentry
Position Summary
As a 2nd Year Landscape Construction Apprentice, you will be part of a team responsible for constructing and maintaining high-quality landscaping projects. You will gain hands‐on experience in various aspects of landscape construction, including installing decks, pergolas, paving, tiling, retaining walls, brick and block work, planting, turfing, and stone work.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist experienced landscape construction workers in performing tasks such as:
* Installing decks and pergolas of various materials
* Paving and tiling outdoor spaces
* Constructing retaining walls to stabilize slopes
* Laying brick and block work for structures like patios and walls
* Performing stone work for features such as natural stone walls, walkways, and water features
* Planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
* Turfing lawns to create green and functional spaces
* Learn and use various landscaping tools and equipment
* Follow safety guidelines and regulations
* Contribute to a positive team workplace
Qualifications and Skills
* Interest in landscaping and construction
* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
* Physically fit and able to perform manual labor
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Good communication skills
Requirements
* MUST HAVE A CURRENT MANUAL DRIVERS LICENSE
* Landscape technician: 1 year (required)
* Manual Driver Licence (required)
* Work Authorisation: Australia (required)

Pay and Hours
Pay: $23.91 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
