We have an exceptional opportunity for a VR GP (or GP Registrar), to join a newly established medical centre centre located in the heart of middle of Casino (2470), in the NSW Northern Rivers district.
Like many regional towns across Australia, Casino has been affected by a shortage of GP's, and in establishing this new GP Practice in the middle of town we are hoping to attract a Practitioner to this lovely area.
Offering accomodation support and significant patient flow, you will be supporting a population of over 17,000 from Casino and the surrounding areas.
Supporting you in practice is a dedicated team including a Practice Manager, a Full Time GP, Nurses and reception staff, the Practice is also well equipped with treatment and procedures room, excellent systems and 'Best Practice' software.
Casino is only 2 hours from the QLD Border and offers excellent schools, a TAFE, restaurants, a cinema and all the ammenities of a regional centre including a 60 bed, 24/7 Emergency Department.

To be considered for this position it is essential that:
* You hold registration with AHPRA as Medical Practitioner
* You hold FRACGP/FACRRM or equivalent (MRCGP/FRNZCGP) or be on a GP Training Program
* Eligibility for Medicare claiming privileges
