Where you'll be working:
Based at the John Hunter Hospital, New Lambton Heights, the JMO Support Officer for our Networks is located in the University School of Medicine space on Level 3.
Our Networks team consist of Managers of the Prevocational Network, Emergency Medicine, Physician Training, Senior Resident Medical Officer Network, and Work Based Assessment Program and Hospital Non-Specialist Program Coordinators along with administrative support staff.
Our team work closely together in a tight-knit group with a variety of years of service across HNELHD. The team maintains strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
About the role:
The JMO Support Officer for the Networks is a pivotal, high-impact role at the heart of the HNELHD Networks Team. As a key administrative and customer service professional, you'll be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the delivery of high-quality training outcomes for Junior Medical Officers within the Prevocational, Emergency Medicine, Physician Training and Senior Resident Medical Officer Networks.
You'll thrive in a role that blends frontline engagement, coordination, and governance—where no two days are the same and your organisational skills genuinely make a difference to those working alongside you.

About you:
If you are the successful applicant, you will need to be highly organised, confident and genuinely enjoy being the glue that assists to hold our Networks together and support our Network Operations Manager, Network Managers and Coordinators to enhance the experience for our Junior Medical Officers working across our Networks and programs.
You will have exceptional communication skills, customer service excellence, excellent diary and meeting minutes experience along with strong digital and systems capability.
