MCC also manages the Australian Sports Museum, celebrating Australia's sporting history.About the team and roleThe Commercial Operations & Partnerships Department handles marketing, communications, publicity, community partnerships, sales, advertising, merchandise, and sponsorships. We seek an experienced Brand and Marketing Manager for a 12-month parental leave cover. Reporting to the Executive Manager – Corporate Affairs, Marketing & Community, this role develops and executes marketing programs aligned with brand strategies and key campaigns.This position ensures consistent brand experiences across all channels, manages internal briefs, and leads a small team (two direct reports). It also involves liaising with external partners such as AFL, Cricket Australia, event providers, tenant clubs, and sponsors to foster cross-promotional opportunities.Note: The role may require working outside regular hours, especially during events.You will bring to this roleEssential qualifications include previous experience as a Brand and Marketing Manager, preferably in a related industry or with a well-known national brand. You should be a collaborative leader with strong drive, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships. You must demonstrate sound judgment and have experience managing a small team.
