Reliable Asset Performance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Reliability Asset Performance specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for improving equipment reliability by providing Condition Monitoring services through the Engineering Services team.


About the Role:

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be based in Whyalla and report directly to the Engineering Services Superintendent. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to individual plant areas, including vibration monitoring and analysis, machine balancing, thermography, and other tools to measure and predict asset condition.

You will assist in troubleshooting and fault-finding as required in individual plant areas, provide recommendations to maintenance personnel to maximise equipment life and minimise lifecycle costs, and analyse and report on asset conditions in a timely fashion based on quality routine and ad-hoc test results.

Key Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Ensuring high-quality customer service and communication to individual plants
* Ensuring incident/accident reporting and investigation is undertaken
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
* Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance asset performance


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

* Tertiary qualification in Engineering
* Training in Condition Monitoring techniques
* 3-5 years of experience in condition monitoring/reliability engineering in heavy industrial manufacturing businesses
* Competency in condition monitoring test equipment and analysis software applications
* Good hands-on experience in SAP and MS Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel
