Clennett's Mitre 10 is seeking a driven and people-focused Trade Account Manager to join our successful sales team. This role will manage and grow our residential builder portfolio, helping us continue to deliver the trusted service and quality we're known for.
As an industry leader in timber and building products, we pride ourselves on building strong partnerships and providing solutions that support our customers' success.
What you'll do:
* Nurture and expand our trade accounts within the residential builder sector by fostering strong relationships and offering tailored solutions
* Consistently meet and exceed sales targets through proactive account management
* Ensure customers understand lead times and delivery standards and liaise with trade staff to adequately resource commitments; accordingly, follow up where necessary.
* Ensure quotes are returned in a timely manner.
* Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of sales strategies to achieve growth targets
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, from product selection to delivery
What we're looking for
* 5 + years in sales or building industry
* A people-focused professional who values collaboration and customer success
* Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
* Strong understanding of construction materials and product applications.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time role. The successful candidate will be offered a salary package (including a fully maintained vehicle) based on relevant skills and experience. If successful, you will also be subject to a pre-employment medical reference checking and a six-month probationary period.
