We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Finance team as a Customer Service Officer. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for accounts, providing training and coaching, and delivering excellent customer service to support our Finance Team. Position Overview
The Customer Service Officer at Hutcheon and Pearce provides key assistance to our customers and branches in communicating on account-related issues, including Accounts Receivable, invoice and statement distribution, dispute follow-up, and solutions. The role also involves providing initial and ongoing training on administration processes to staff.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Assist with letter writing and communications.
2. Manage company legal aspects for Terms of Trade and credit applications by customers.
3. Authorize and negotiate payment plans.
4. Oversee banking functions.
5. Assist with the induction of branch administration employees as required.
6. Assist in all aspects of administration for field days.
7. Support branch with EFTPOS, banking queries, follow-ups, and error resolution.
8. Assist group staff with administrative tasks related to special terms accounts and programs.
9. Maintain and improve company contacts and debtor accounts.
10. Backup and answer the main reception phone line as needed.
11. Support other group administration staff where needed.
12. Make after-sales calls to customers as required.
13. Perform other general administrative tasks as required.
The Ideal Candidate should have:
1. Experience in administration department operations (beneficial but not essential).
2. Proficiency in standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
3. Effective communication skills for speaking and writing to individuals and groups.
4. Ability to create, analyze, and interpret internal reports.
5. Excellent attention to detail.
6. Drive for process improvement.
7. Strong organizational and project facilitation skills.
8. High School Certificate or equivalent experience.
