We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Legal and Business Affairs team as a Legal Specialist. This role sits at the intersection of law, media rights, and commercial operations, supporting high-profile partnerships and strategic initiatives.
The successful candidate will champion operational excellence in our Legal function, managing delivery of media entitlements, legal systems, technology, and AI, while supporting governance, player contracting, and financial processes.

* Manage contractual entitlements, supporting media sales processes, negotiations, and strategic rights programs.
* Manage and maintain our legal portal, exploring AI capabilities to ensure best practice legal operations.
* Provide administrative support across the Legal Affairs team, including meeting organisation, presentation drafting, reports, and player contracting documentation.
* Maintain policy and procedure registers, assist with company secretary duties, and lead archive retention, reduction, and digitisation initiatives.
* Prepare budget documentation, process invoices, provide advice on budget deployment, and assist with managing financial obligations between partners.

Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, or Sport Administration (or equivalent experience).
* Experience with sports broadcasting rights and intellectual property desirable.
* Contract management, legal administration, or commercial operations experience.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external contacts spanning countries, cultures, and time zones.
* Able to prioritise tasks based on value/risk/urgency and adhere to timelines.
* Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and thorough approach to tasks.
* Document management system experience.
* A passion for implementing new technologies and AI into business processes.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities while adhering to timelines.
* A highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
