Job Description
Our client is a leading commercial builder with over 30 years of experience in NSW delivering major New Build, Refurbishment and Fit-out projects up to $100M.
Operating across commercial, education, & government with a strong pipeline of upcoming work and some major recent wins, they are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager for an exciting Commercial project (new build) located in The Hills District.
As the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for:
1. Mentoring and leading a team of CA's and Cadets
2. Overseeing the creation and updating program of work
3. Creating and tracking cost reports
4. Ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements
5. Involvement with tendering/estimation
6. Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors
7. Creating and modifying ITP’s
8. Creating and modifying SWMS
9. Raising RFI’s and tracking responses
10. Liaising closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
To be considered for the position of Contracts Manager you will require:
11. Tertiary qualification in in Construction Management / Building / Engineering or equivalent
12. Minimum 5-10 years' experience in a tier one or tier two environment as a senior contract admin or contracts manager
13. Proficient using Jobpac
14. Proven experience working on commercial projects valued above $50m
15. Knowledge of Sydney construction market and subcontractors
16. Strong attention for detail and proven communication skills
