Initiative lead (Stress Testing Program)

Role Type: Internal - Permanent / External - 12 months Fixed-term; Role Location: 833 Collins Street Docklands VIC 3008; Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Overview

Initiative lead (Stress Testing Program) will work with the Vendor, Technology Teams and Business SMEs to lead the Stress Testing Solution design, build and deployment activities. Establish and lead a team of Business Analysts to document and manage a complex suite of business requirements across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring the delivered solution meets regulatory and business needs and transformational outcomes are aligned to benefits. Establish efficient and fit for purpose Agile delivery processes to develop and manage the integrated delivery plan, with effective status reporting - ensuring the critical path is clearly defined, activities are well coordinated and optimised delivery pace. Work effectively across the Program's enablement streams and understand interdependencies e.g. Design the future state processes with strong governance and controls, traceability of requirements to regulatory obligations, change management stream, data migration stream, credit risk model rebuilds and metric calculations. Chair working groups to resolve solution design issues, effectively manage scope, prioritise multiple requirements and identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies. Produce meaningful status reporting for steering committees. Ensure adherence to ANZ's Non-financial risk (NFR) framework and delivery framework (ADF).

Responsibilities

- Lead Stress Testing Solution design, build and deployment activities with Vendor, Technology Teams and Business SMEs.
- Establish and lead a team of Business Analysts to document and manage a complex set of business requirements across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Ensure delivered solution meets regulatory and business needs and transformational outcomes are aligned to benefits.
- Establish efficient Agile delivery processes to develop and manage the integrated delivery plan with clear status reporting.
- Coordinate activities to define the critical path and optimise delivery pace.
- Work across enablement streams and manage interdependencies (design future-state processes, governance, regulatory traceability, change management, data migration, credit risk model rebuilds, metrics).
- Chair working groups to resolve design issues, manage scope, prioritise requirements and identify risks, issues and dependencies.
- Produce meaningful status reporting for steering committees.
- Ensure adherence to ANZ's Non-financial risk (NFR) framework and delivery framework (ADF).

Qualifications

- Program Delivery: Extensive hands-on experience (10+ years) planning and delivering end-to-end banking transformation projects and system implementations through the SDLC in a complex, dynamic, regulatory workplace.
- Tools and Environment: Proficiency in project delivery tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Power Point, Excel, Visio, Confluence and collaboration tools).
- Regulatory and Domain Knowledge: Extensive knowledge in Financial Regulation, Risk Weighted Assets and ETL.
- Team Building & Leadership: Experience building and managing project delivery teams, coaching SMEs to adopt Agile practices, and domain knowledge in Credit Risk, Treasury, Finance or Regulatory Reporting/Financial Regulation across data, credit risk models and metrics; some system/data experience in ETL tools.
- Vendor Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to negotiate outcomes across multiple streams and communicate progress to Executive stakeholders.
- Leadership: Ability to envision and communicate a compelling vision, motivate teams, and align with ANZ values. Embrace New Ways of Leading and Growth Mindset.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand impacts broadly, focus on end users, and distill large information into workable packages.
