We're looking for Melbourne-based Senior Legal Counsel to join us and undertake a secondment with one of our clients in the higher education sector!

About You:
We're looking for an experienced employment lawyer with 8+ years PQE who is ready for a new challenge and take on contract work. Ideally, you've trained with a well‐regarded firm and have worked in‐house. You have strong experience working with employment law issues and you think like an in‐house advisor. Importantly, you enjoy turning your hand to new things that come up. You are commercially‐minded, pro‐active and flexible with strong technical skills.
Your other skills and experience may include but are not limited to:
* Industrial relations
* WHS/OHS
* Appearance work at the Fair Work Commission
* General protection and unfair dismissal claims
* Bullying claims
* Anti‐discrimination/equal opportunity compliance and claims defence
* Workplace investigations
And you have proven experience in:
* Working collaboratively with colleagues within the legal team and with internal clients
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
