The positions are FIFO from Perth, Darwin, or Broome to site or DIDO from Onslow, Exmouth, Karratha, or Dampier. Paulsens is located in the Ashburton Basin of the Eastern Pilbara region, 211kms inland east of Onslow and 180km west of Paraburdoo. Flights are to Onslow or Paraburdoo, then a two-hour transport to site.
The roster is 15/13, day shift only.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for an Environment Advisor interested in joining our team.
This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with environmental regulations, licensing and approvals obligations through analysis and interpretation of data, maintaining environmental databased, reporting, sampling and monitoring.
In addition, this role has a secondary focus as a Safety Advisor, assisting in the maintenance of safety and health systems and processes across the operations, providing safety and health support and advice.
About You
We are looking for people with positive and motivated 'can do' attitudes, able to work collaboratively, and with a diverse range of people across all levels who understand we are all in this together.
In addition, we require the following:
* Qualification in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
* Experience in a similar position, within the mining industry with an understanding of mining and minerals processing plants, preferably gold.
* Understanding of WA environmental approval process and statutory reporting.
* Demonstrated knowledge of environmental legislation related to the mining industry and experience in assisting with environmental compliance in plant operations and project execution.
* Experience and proficiency in GIS software (including CQIS) and data management.
* Familiarity with INX database modules.
* ERT experience (desirable, not essential).
