What You'll Be Doing
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects (BESS, Solar).
* Manage project execution, scope, schedule, budget, and construction risks.
* Drive contract negotiations and oversee compliance with EPC, grid, lease, and supplier agreements.
* Build and establish relationships with LNSP, AEMO, Planning Authorities, Local Community, Neighbours, Landowners and relevant Government Bodies.
* Lead cross-functional teams including HSE, legal, and engineering.
* Oversee contractors and subcontractors during construction.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance project performance.
* Ensure quality control, regulatory compliance, and safety standards are met.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, local communities, and government bodies.
* Provide regular updates on milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience delivering at least one large-scale utility project in Australia from contract negotiation through to completion stages; ideally within the renewable energy industry (Battery Energy Storage Systems, Solar, Wind).
* Strong leadership and team management skills across multiple projects.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
* Expert skills in project management and risk mitigation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office Suite.
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
* Willingness to be site-based.
