**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Speech and Language Specialist. This role involves developing and implementing specialized language programs for students with identified speech and language difficulties/impairments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement specialized language programs for students with identified speech and language difficulties/impairments.
* Build the capacity of teachers and Level 1 Speech and Language Officers (Speech Pathologists) to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to maximize language learning outcomes for students with language impairments.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* An Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Able to obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting and consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
