Woodridge State High School is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Workplace Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As the Workplace Health and Safety Advisor, you will:
Provide and coordinate workplace health and safety services.
Perform the role of Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator, communicating effectively with doctors, allied health professionals, line managers, injured employees, and others.
This role is offered on a temporary full-time basis, until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.

About The Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing advice to management on accident prevention, hazard identification and control, health and safety promotion, environmental and risk issues related to students, staff, and contractors.
Conducting risk assessments and inspections to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.
Developing and coordinating training on health and safety topics to ensure legislative compliance.
Maintaining communication with the Workplace Health and Safety Committee through reports and feedback on activities, risks, and emergency procedures.
