Posted: 17 March
Offer description

GMP Law is Australia's leading personal injury and compensation law firm, with specialist expertise across Medical Negligence, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Public Liability, Institutional Abuse, Workers' Compensation, Dust Diseases, Inheritance Disputes, TPD, Product Liability, and Class Actions.

We're known for our compassionate approach and relentless pursuit of justice. Our expert legal team works closely with top industry specialists to secure maximum compensation for our clients—helping them recover from injury, trauma, or loss with dignity and support.

About the role

We're looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Content Producer to join our growing Marketing Team. This is a newly created role, ideal for someone who's equal parts content creator, community manager, and storyteller. You'll take ownership of our social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, creating engaging, on‐brand content that builds community, drives engagement, and supports our broader marketing strategy.

You'll be responsible for producing a wide range of assets, from graphics and short‐form videos to stories and reels and will have the confidence to take the lead in creating and testing new formats. Once onboarded, you'll have the freedom to bring your creative ideas to life and help shape the firm's social voice. You'll work closely with our Content Manager and marketing team to ensure all posts, campaigns, and interactions reflect our brand values and messaging.

Key Responsibilities
* Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
* Develop a content plan to leverage YouTube (shorts and long form)
* Produce high‐quality social media videos using Adobe Creative Suite
* Work with existing brand guidelines to reimagine new, compliant templates
* Plan, shoot, and edit short‐form videos that align with our social content strategy
* Monitor comments, messages, and community interactions, responding in a timely and professional manner
* Use learnings from community management to develop monthly content calendars that resonate with target audience
* Track engagement metrics and provide insights to improve performance
* Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging and creative consistency across channels
* Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices
Working model
* Hybrid with minimum two days in the office
* Occasional interstate travel may be required where the content plan necessitates on‐site filming and production attendance
Qualifications / Experience
* 3+ years' experience in social media management, content creation, or community moderation
* Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn best practices
* Proficiency in Canva
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator)
* Confident in front of and behind the camera, with experience creating video content
* Excellent written communication and visual storytelling skills
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* A proactive mindset, with the creativity and initiative to bring new ideas to life
* Experience in the legal or professional services industry is a plus but not essential
Why Join Us
* You'll be joining a growing marketing team with exciting plans for the year ahead. This is a chance to shape a new role and contribute meaningfully to a business that values quality content
* Exposure to diverse projects and marketing channel mix as well as professional development opportunities
* Competitive salary and we offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid or remote work options, depending on your location
