Bindaree Food Group (BFG) is a vertically integrated supply chain business delivering global meat solutions both domestically and internationally and has solidified its position as a prominent leader in the Australian meat industry.
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team, delivering multi‐million‐dollar capital and technical projects within a complex manufacturing environment. Working closely with operational and maintenance teams, you'll play a key role in translating business needs into practical, well‐governed project outcomes that support safety, efficiency, and long‐term performance.
Your new day-to-day
* Identify strategic opportunities and translate them into clear, deliverable project plans
* Lead and coordinate projects end‐to‐end, from initial concept through delivery and review
* Maintain strong project governance, including budgets, schedules, milestones, and contracts
* Build effective relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external partners
* Communicate project progress clearly, adapting messages to address risks and concerns early
* Prepare and present concise project updates to senior stakeholders
* Provide practical technical support to maintenance teams during operational issues
* Support additional project and maintenance initiatives as required
Skills and Experiences
What you'll need
* Experience leading projects involving machinery installation, upgrades, or fault resolution, ideally in a manufacturing or food production environment
* Trade background or formal project management qualifications (or working toward) will be highly regarded
* Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and to quality expectations
* Working knowledge of both agile and waterfall project delivery approaches
* Experience using MS Project or similar scheduling tools, or willingness to develop these skills
* Strong communication and facilitation skills, with confidence presenting to operational and senior stakeholders
* Sound experience maintaining project governance documentation, including plans, schedules, and reporting
