Our client, a leading organisation in the retail and FMCG sector, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role in their ERP Transition Program. This role will lead the Supply Chain & Merchandise IT stream, driving the delivery of technology and integration outcomes while ensuring services and systems are transitioned with minimal disruption. Work type: Contract, full time with 3 days a week based in the office (2 Sydney locations) Day Rate: $1,391.36 per day Contract: Initial contract to January 2026, with extension scheduled through to 2028 Key Responsibilities Lead the Supply Chain & Merchandise stream through planning, design, build, test, cutover, and hypercare Deliver a clear operating model, governance, and cadence for the stream Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships across IT, business, and external partners Oversee supply chain systems and services, defining and executing service arrangements Forecast, plan, and manage financials and pipeline of work at the stream level Coordinate integration activities across ERP, supply chain, and merchandise platforms including SAP S/4HANA, SAP CAR, EDI, and vendor portals Identify and manage cross-stream dependencies, escalating RAIDD items to protect delivery outcomes Provide accurate reporting to governance forums including the ERP Program Control Group Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in senior project or program management roles within ERP, Supply Chain, or Merchandise transformation programs Strong stakeholder engagement skills across IT and business, ideally within multi-organisation environments Demonstrated ability to establish and lead a workstream, not just deliver projects Strong understanding of supply chain and merchandise processes and supporting systems (preferably SAP) Experience in large-scale integration projects with complex dependencies Financial and resource management expertise at workstream level Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous, and politically complex environments Benefits Opportunity to shape and deliver a business-critical ERP program with enterprise-wide impact Exposure to leading-edge technologies and large-scale transformation initiatives Collaborative and supportive team culture with highly engaged stakeholders Hybrid working model with flexibility to balance office collaboration and remote work Professional growth through complex project delivery and stakeholder leadership For any questions feel free to email lodonovan@launchrecruitment.com.au
