**The Position**
We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Perth team to process and maintain a payroll portfolio and payroll support to internal and external customers.
**Key duties**
- Process payroll portfolio on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis
- Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurate
- Process Manual pays as required
- Maintain employee files/records
- Process Worker's Compensation Payments
- Process Payroll payments for electronic transfer to COL
- Provide information to internal/external customers
- Produce fortnightly reports as required for the business
- Provide Support to Management
- Process jobs logged through internal Customer Service Package
- Award interpretation - report discrepancies to Team Leader
- Perform Leave Reconciliation's as required
- Calculate and produce Termination payments when requested
- Maintain database integrity
- Compile and complete ABS/Government Agency forms
- Provide support to fellow team members as required
- Assist/Relieve Payroll Team Leader when required
**The Person**
- Minimum 3 years payroll experience, with large company preferable
- Ability to process payrolls in excess of 500 employees
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Sound Payroll Knowledge
- Knowledge of PayGlobal desirable
- Award Interpretation
- Excellent Organisational/Communication Skills
- Ability to work alone and also as a Team Member
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Good work ethic with attention to detail
- Knowledge of salary packaging
