About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Workforce Lead to join our supported employment team.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead and support a diverse team of Job Coaches and Process Workers, helping them achieve both operational outcomes and individual employment goals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys people leadership, hands-on operations, and making a genuine social impact.
You will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace, while ensuring quality standards, customer requirements, and compliance obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support and motivate Job Coaches and Process Workers with varying support needs
* Coordinate daily staffing, rosters and workforce allocation alongside the Production Manager
* Support employees to upskill and achieve their employment goals
* Oversee daily warehouse and production operations
* Conduct daily toolbox talks and on-the-job training
* Ensure quality, safety (OHS), and production targets are met
* Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and compliance requirements
* Manage stock control, inventory, dispatch and customer order coordination
* Identify and report incidents, quality issues and maintenance needs
* Contribute ideas to improve operations and team performance
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Proven experience leading a team, ideally within a disability or supported employment environment
* Warehouse and/or production experience
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Confidence using Microsoft Office
* A positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
* Empathy, patience and a genuine respect for people living with disability
Highly Desirable:
* Knowledge of NDIS and Disability Employment Standards
* Certificate III or IV in Disability Support
* Forklift licence
* First Aid certificate
* OHS Representative experience
* Qualifications or experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Leadership
