We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join our team in a large retirement living community.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents, providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth running of the community.
* Provide general administrative support including reception duties, greeting residents & visitors and ensuring common areas are inviting
* Assisting with the distribution of mail & email correspondence, ordering of stock, preparing newsletters, updating contact lists and organising bookings
* Attend to a wide range of 'all-rounder' tasks around the village such as assisting for events, helping with lunch & dinner service or cleaning
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as residents, visitors,community groups, contractors and fellow colleagues.
This is a permanent part-time position working every Thursday & Friday 7am-1.30pm. As we staff our village 24 hours a day, we are looking for someone who will be flexible to cover leave where needed. This may include other weekdays, weekends or night-time sleepover shifts (accommodation + allowances paid).

Requirements:
* Experience in a customer-facing Administration or Reception environment (such as in Retirement Villages, Tourism, Corporate Offices or Hospitality)
* Intermediate computer skills and adaptability to learn new software programs
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate work and prioritise work to meet deadlines and commitments
