Assistant Store Manager
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and supervise daily store operations, including managing staff and providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role
* You will work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team and achieve success. This will involve coaching and developing team members, as well as ensuring that they are equipped to provide outstanding service to customers.

* You will be a safety leader, always providing the safest work environment for yourself, team members and customers. This will involve adhering to health and safety protocols and procedures at all times.
* You will set a positive example at all times, demonstrating the values and behaviors expected of our team members. This includes being flexible, adaptable and willing to go above and beyond to achieve results.
* You will often have opening and closing responsibilities, which may include performing various tasks such as counting tills, reconciling stock and ensuring the store is secure.
Requirements
* You will have previous supervisory experience, or be ready for that next step. You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
* You will have previous retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale and/or workshop operations experience. This will give you a solid understanding of the products we sell and the services we offer.
* Ideal candidates will have mechanical/automotive parts knowledge, although this is not essential. What is important is that you are able to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
* You will have a flexible availability and hold a valid driver's licence. This will enable you to perform various tasks, including driving company vehicles and visiting customers.
* You will have the physical capacity to perform the duties of the role, including handling products of a heavy nature. You will also be able to prioritize safety and take steps to prevent accidents and injuries.
