Your Role
St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Bundaberg is seeking a part-time continuing Assistant Outside Schools Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinator to join their team.
This 31-hpw position involves before school care, after school care and vacation care.
The Assistant Coordinator will work closely with the Coordinator to provide programmes for children aged 5–12 years in Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care.
Typical Duties (but not limited to)
Regularly evaluate the programme to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school-age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time – Our Place' Framework.
Advise families about the programme, policies and procedures when required.
Where appropriate, take on the role of Educational Leader within the service, providing guidance and support to the team on best practice programming.
Work in support of the Coordinator on administrative tasks and efficient day-to-day operation of the service.

Mandatory Requirements
A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act **** (WWC Act) and a valid Suitability Notice is required.
A minimum Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent is preferred.
Applicants studying towards or willing to obtain an ACECQA-approved diploma-level qualification are encouraged to apply.
First Aid Certificate, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Training (ACECQA approved).
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
