Facility Services Officer
Site and Service
Quorn Health Service is a 41-bed facility, including 11 acute beds and 30 aged care beds. It offers accident and emergency care, general and surgical services, and residential aged care. The setting provides a range of allied health services and supports the health and wellbeing of residents and the local community.
About the Role
As a Facility Services Officer, you will provide hands‐on maintenance and facilities management services, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of buildings, plant and equipment. Responsibilities include coordinating contractors, managing maintenance programmes, supporting asset management activities, and overseeing repairs to meet required standards and regulations. You will maintain asset records, monitor budgets, and contribute to planning and preventive maintenance programmes. Supporting safety systems, including fire safety and emergency planning, and maintaining facilities, equipment and outdoor areas to a high standard are also key elements of the role.
About You
* You have experience using computers and related applications.
* You possess experience in the evaluation, selection and purchase of plant and equipment, and in reading and working to technical drawings.
* You have previous experience in building maintenance or an engineering field.
Employment Details
* This is a part‐time vacancy, working 37.5 hours per fortnight. Salary will be adjusted to reflect actual hours worked.
